This is a vintage Dunhuang No.66 erhu, crafted in 1995 by the renowned Shanghai National Musical Instruments Factory. Dunhuang instruments from this period are highly respected for their consistency, tonal depth, and long-term stability.

Made from aged red sandalwood, this erhu features a naturally rounded neck for comfortable handling and structural balance. Over time, the wood has matured, resulting in enhanced resonance, warmth, and expressive tonal character that surpasses most new instruments.
